I'm sorry, I didnt posted for a long time, cause i thought mark will sometime finish his megapost, so you guys will be infested with goods, and now there it is below this post.
i have traded/bought some nice new tapes and 7"s, if i get the chance, ill rip them.
lets dive in.

first of all this is a demo of LITTLE PRINCESS, an all-female grind band from san francisco. as i read on the net they split up, too bad. this is an EP from them, really nice stuff, short and pissed songs, i like the vocals and the guitar sound really much. the interludes like clapping, and a japanese woman talking are just adding more to the funny but really pissed off feeling somehow, in my opinion. song titles remember me of japanese hardcore bands like BREAKFAST and ROMANTIC GORILLA, which are awesome.
SONGS COLLECTION.

the second shit is from PETER MANGALORE. this is the reason why i love power violence. fast, pissed off as hell and straight forward. no bullshit, no talking between two songs about what you think, only a kick in the guts from the music. even the first song called 'disqualified as a human being' is already so fucked up and pissed it hurts. the sound is a bit sterile for me, and i dont like triggered drums, but its still awesome.
DECAY OF THE IRON MAN.

i have no good music left for a while, and cant write that much right now, but ill share some zines (sorry foreigners, only in hungarian), review them, and blahblahblah.

first of all is ANARCHISTA ÚJSÁG, which simply means 'anarchist newspaper'. ive got issues 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7, sorry no 6, although thats my favourite number. these zines were made in around 91/92. usually nice cut n paste style, i love the layout. the theme is - you've guessed it - anarchism, squatting, politics (mostly hungarian), blah. if you get the chance, find someone to translate it, its a nice zine.
FREEDOM.

next up is one of my favourite punk zine from hungary, SALAK (means something like 'waste'). it was made by bassists/vocalist of the almighty ANOTHER WAY, Gida. the zine is all cut n paste, about punk and faster music, some thoughts, reviews, etc. usual stuff, but it a really good style. check it.

first stuff is a demo from leeds based power violence band SHOOT THE BASTARD. i know the drummer for years, but we havent talked for a while now, but warren does really awesome stuff on this little demo. straight ahead, noisy and fuckin raw, no bass, and agressive. really good.

next up is a concept album by one of my favourite bands of all time, THE FLYING LUTTENBACHERS. its something like black metal inspired inside-out noisy free jazz chaos. really evil stuff, part 4 is one of the best songs ever written. weasel walter plays insanely fast blastbeats, as well as mick barr and ed rodriguez on guitar. the bass player is mike green from noise band BURMESE. gotta check this out if you dont know the luttenbachers yet, this is a really good starting point to love them.

and the last thing in this post today is a live set of BACTERIA CULT, a project of chris dodge, power violence living legend and pioneer from bands like spazz, despise you, lack of interest, etc, you know. this stuff is a lot like usual power electronics/harsh noise acts, but with 4 members, really cool stuff. sounds like early bastard noise records to me, i love it.

everybody who is familiar with power violence knows what this word of expression was meant to be. when it came out it was the ultimate compilation, and it still is. it was released by the ultimate, the one and only chris fuckin dodge's (from spazz, lack of interest, despise you legend for you dumb fucks who dont know) label, SLAP-A-HAM records.

Bleeeaaaarghhhhh! was a compilation of compilations. it had 3 volumes, having every notable band from that time from every kinds of scenes and styles, but the aim and the message was the same. the aim was to have a lot of bands with songs less than a few seconds, fast as fuck ripping hardcore only. and the message was music war (as the 3rd Bleeeaaaarghhhhh!'s title said, the music war.)

kent brockman is from the simpsons. he reads the news. get it? btw this is some sweetass german pv, really well played, 2 songs only, really fast and agressive. nothing much more to say about. love it.

LOW THREAT PROFILE - S/T 7"
pv supergroup. has members of infest, no comment and lack of interest. what more should i say? one of the best pv releases!

REAL REGGAE - MAZE + THC BEST
i love this band. its mostly about getting high and listening to this shit. the title says all. its not that typical japanese spazzy pv stuff, its more 'mature' so to say, if i can say such thing in the term 'japanese hardcore'.

REALITY PART #2
this one is a compilation with awesome bands like INFEST, DYSTOPIA, ASSHOLE PARADE, etc.etc.etc., i could list all of them, only big names, really good comp if youre getting into this kinda stuff or just love compilations with good bands.

EDDIE BROCK - DEMO 2K9
i swear the vocals remind me of NAPALM DEATH. but the music is just plain simple, hardass power violence. really neet stuff, check it out if you dont know them yet. (sorry, no original artwork, but that pic of eddie is still awesome.)

now get high, and listen to some fast shit. thats an order.

Other People's Shit, That I wish Were My Own

So, I was cruising the internets when I found some shit that needs to be posted as other people's shit. It is from this blog, which is not yet on our blog roll, but will most likely be before you read this entry. I keep on finding new and awesome shit all over the place, with some blogs having just one or two albums or EPs, or even demos that I want, and I must say, it is making me super pleased. It is pleasing me.
The music on here is the awesome Wakenn Karole Romanoff, who rule, and this is their demo, and also their split with Rob Berdella, which cover I supplied ever so graciously, at the header. It is really fucking filthy hardcore, power violence if you will, realy friggin fast, and it is just music that feels so right when you hear it, like, yeah, this is what it should sound like, if its gonna be like this, and if its not sounding like this, why make it like this? I dunno if that made sense, but its awesome. The sound quality is again a bit mysterious, but I like it. I like this sort of sound quality. It is lo-fi but not too much, just enough where you cannot hear everything, but it enhances everythign that is happening. It sounds organic, alive, gritty, stinking, messed up, not overly noisy like some Japanese hardcore or crasher crust, and not an intentional bedroom recording either. They wanted to make it sound good, not too fancy, and that is what they did. I really like the way the songs are written too, a little bit like Short Hate Temper, short songs, fast as fuck. I think you get the idea.

Its fucking good.


To speak further of sound quality that is raw and delightful, one of my all time favorite bands, Entrails Massacre, are totally like that. This is Their split with Subcut, a classic by all means. Got it off a tarde on the internet, never even saw a copy of it. How sad is that? I don't feel like its other peoples shit, cuz it was a trade, and I fell in love with it so hard, I used to listen to the Entrails Massacre side everyday when I would get high, so I heard it a great deal. This is not my rip, but one that is much cooler, with inlay and all that shit. I am almost certain that I got it from Keep The Grindcore Alive. Which is one of the best places on earth. If I could, I would move there.
Entrails Massacre play grindcore, whaever anyone might say. Its abit soulful, much more so than other siht I like, but its really aggressive, and the vocals are still really good on this one. They are good later on too, but not this good. The guitars sound all out of tune, and they make each riff totally unique, the sound on this album is also totally unique, this is one of the prime examples of how a grindcore record should sound. The first song has to be the best thing to get high too.
The Subcut side is also really good, hyperblasting, raw as fuck political grindcore that is pissed and typically South American, but it just pales in comparisson. If this were a split with any other band during any other era, they would be the standout. But the yget owned, as tghis is one of those rare times when a band out does not just itself, but just happens to make that one record that is so good it just makes most other things look weak in comparrison.

You know you want to hear it after that rant.

I also wt to congratualte myself, as this is the firts time that I only wrote about the music. This will be kept to a minimum. Butt I could not help it, and this is long enough for now. When I get my vinyl ripping in order, it is over for you guys, though.

TEKKENTEKKENTEKKEN

Oh yeah, Tekken. A band I dont know shit about, only that they had a lot of splits, and a discography cassette (Past & Present), which I am introducing tonight here. What can you tell about a band named after the best fighting game in history?! Well it sounds like shit, its sometimes sloppy too, but its really fun to listen to. The song titles, their own songs' remixes and the covers (for example Slayer, Ac/Dc, Nirvana, etc.) are hilarious. Oh, and they have one of the best cover designs of all time. My favorite, the 3 Leatherfaces. Simple, yet fucking awesome. First saw it on the always awesome Buddha Khan, eternal thanks, dude!

Maybe roll a spliff, turn your shitty-noisy speakers a bit louder, and play this awesome game in the light of your monitor at night. CCD bees & some german power violence.

today i was browsin, and went to ANNEX ONE. i found a very interesting article about how our cell phones disorient bees, and in chain reaction how it kills them, and how it causes a global problem. i pretty much hate cellphones, if i could live without them, i would try to destroy as many as possible. i wont tell whats in the article, go to the site, and read it, and check out the video, which is awesome.


the band i'll introduce in this post is (or at least was) a german power violence band by the always awesome Tom Schmolke (henry fonda, obi wahn, toxic kids, ex-call me betty, yehonala tapes, etc.). what can you expect from a band with only 2 shows, about 5 rehearsals, 1 demotape, and about 100 songs? fast as hell, full of blasts, screaming, cookie monster voices, and shit like that. which i really much love. and this tape is a perfect example how improvised or 'half-improvised' music should sound like.

So I decided to post some of my own favourites too... I don’t have anything to say right now, only that I fucking love this band, yet I don’t know shit about them. I only know that they’re from the states, and they play fast, haha. They have a chick as their vocalist, and she has some pretty sweet voice for music like this. I don’t know if they still exist, tho’.I first met this band when I bought a compilation tape called Thrashaholics Anonymous by Skeletor Tapes, from my local tape dealer, Dr. Slayer. The first thing I saw was the awful, but fucking awesome cover art. Looks like a kid’s drawing about a concert, and it has many-many awesome bands on it like Din Addict, Ulcerrhoea, Jazzus, etc. (I’ll upload the taperip sometime for sure!)

I was listening to the tape, laying in bed, I remember I was sick and had a fucking bad hangover, and all of the sudden a harsh and high scream yelled from my tapedeck ’YO FASCIST...’ . It was Fascist Trend/Bald Head from Hatemail Killerz. I was amazed by this band, and I still am, its so harsh, fast, tight, just what I love.
