DISCOGRAPHY CD SHIT

Okay, short rant, then we are gonna do this quick like. People talk shit about discography CDs, but man, fuck all y'all, you guys are just sore cuz you bought the records, which is cool, so did I, for the most part, but then when they release something, other people can hear it too. If you own it on vinyl, don't buy the CD. The only reason your hating is because now other people get to hear it, who you do not deem worthy. And that is malicious. And malice is whack as fuck.

So Ima hit you with discography CDs, some old shit, some shit I ahve been listening to again recently, and some updates. Sounds good? Let's do it....

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DISCOGRAPHY CDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charles Bronson Discography
This is a pretty good double CD, Ima just put one of the CDs up, though, because its the better one. Its long, like 94 songs or some shit, but it does not have their split with Ice Nine on it, or I am just way too retarded, but I coulda sworn that one was missing. So Ima hit you with that seperately. By the way, I am sure you all own this, but if you dont, just get it, man, its good for you.

CB DISCOGRAPHY CD 1
CB/ICE 9 SPLIT

Disrupt
Another discography that lacks a bunch of shit, mostly early stuff, really good, I am sure you all own this as well. If not, get it. Classic, lives up to every inch of hype in my opinion, and that is a rare, rare thing indeed. Also gonna give you their best early work, the Rid The Cancer 7". Don't think it's on the discography, although I oculd be wrong, I never listen to it. I have all their shit separately, you see. Ain't I cool? Do you like me now?

DISRUPT DISCOGRAPHY
DISRUPT- RID THE CANCER 7"

E 150
Great Spanish screaming fastcore shit for you guys. Put up the split with Zanussi already, so you should have an idea of how awesome this band is. Aside from bringing the real real hurt with the fast hardcore, they employ a fair bit of noise and negative shrieking, for your listening pleasure. E150 DISCOGRAPHY

Code 13

Since you guys know Destroy! is my all time favorite crust band, it should come as no surprise that I also like Code 13. They are the band that Felix Havoc did after Destroy!, and then he quit, or they threw him out, something happened, ways were parted, and while he was in it it was more crust, than later just old school 'Merican hardcore. A god bit of both, really, really fast. The other vocalist guy also fucking kicks ass. Everything thats good about hardcore is on this Cd somewhere, mostly sloppy as fuck.

CODE 13 DISCOGRAPHY

Dahmer Studio Sessions

This CD has some of the greatest Dahmer material on it. It does lack some of my favorites, but I have posted some of them, plus, I don't wanna post too much fo them, I wanna focus on new shit, and shit that was neglected, mostly. But, I mean, they are awesome. This one is available like fucking everywhere. Also, Ima put the splti with Fran and the Bitches on here. Two reasons, one, its long, two its not on the discography CD. Also, I really like it. Also, tis hard to find.

DAHMER DISCOGRAPHY CD DAHMER/FRANK AND THE BITCHES

Fear Of God Discography

I don't know if this was just compiled, or if it is an existing CD, it might be like that Kuolema discography that was floating around, which was just one very generous dude's attempt to put all of their shit together. Anyhow, seems to have everything. Also, I hate to admit it, but this band has been out of my radar for a long time. I always heard of it, but I was always too busy with other bands. I feel ashamed, ths band fucking rules, real noisy and really fucking fast, somewhere in between old Napalm Death and Agathocles. Fucking everyone has played a cover of them, too. Also, there are like 90 tracks on here, but only like 35 songs. Each one is played at least 3 times, but often more.

FEAR OF GOD DISCOGRAPHY

MK-Ultra Discography

I promised to put it up if Youth Attack ran out of copies, and I do believe that has happened. I own this one, its a beautiful record, seriously, it's fucking creepy, poignant, politically motivated, gritty and sad, what a small town American hardcore record should look like, not gonna put up pictures, go buy it. This band has some members of Charles Bronson, but are better than them. Some oof their early stuff is really a miss for me, but Melt, which I also have put on here, is genious, as all of their later stuff, and their split with Los Crudos as well. Plus they have a live set on here, which is fucking cool, they sound like no bullsiht solid ass people on the parts in between the songs.

MK- ULTRA DISCOGRAPHY PT. I MK-ULTRA DISCOGRAPHY PT. II

Psychoneurosis- Ten Years On The Frontline

Great mincecore, sometimes thrash/hardcore band from Poland. The eary shit is unimpressive thrashy, grindy hardcore, still solid though, but the latter shit, when they come into their own is straight up amazing. Their split with Brutal Insanity is sheer genious, this is how mince/grind stuff should be, relentless, the sound is just grimmy enough, but you can hear everything, some pitch shifters, but not much, some crazy high end stuff, and the 7" inlay says there is a person called Sonja involved, so I guess, maybe female vocals there as well. Just great shit. ON here tis the last couple of tracks, but the whole thing is great, although the latter shit is much better than the earlier shit.

PSYCHONEUROSIS DISCOGRAPHY

Proyecto Terror- Shitgraphy

Ah, yes. Grind/noise/mince, sounds a lot like Violent Headache, whom I have a crush on, did a split with them, cover some of their songs. A bit like them also in that they have humorous, themed noisecore tracks, really short ones, of course. Lots fo fun this band is, their crusty-grind stuff is also really good, poor musicianship, but hey? Who the fuck cares. This band will etar your face off.

PROYECTO TERROR DISCOGRAPHY

Corpse Molestation- Holocaust Wolves Of The Apocalypse

So I have posted their one listenable and somewhat nicely recorded demo of fucked up, staanic dungeon death metal on here. If you are interested in the rest of their stuff, which is rawer than 80% of crust bands, noisier than a lot of so-called noise bands, and more fucked up than pretty much anyone else in the genre, than I recommend you get this. No one has ever written music like these people. Ever.

CORPSE MOLESTATION DISCOGRAPHY

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOISY METAL GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So you guys might know I love garage, shitty sounding, lo-fi death metal, and the above posted Corpse Molestation shit led me to realize, I have been neglecting the super fast, garbage death metal that got me into blast beats in the first place. Shame on me. Here are three little things to make you think.

Lier In Wait- Equinox, Twilight of the Gods

A litle bit melodic and sad, which I hate, the reason I put this up here is because of the blast beats. This shit is amazing. Also from 1992, if I remember correctly, so super amazing. As for the vocals, you can hardly hear them, but they are weak ass growls, the guitars play melodies for the most part, the slow parts are hard to get through, lots of melody. Super rare though. MOst fo you would hate this shit.

Liers In Wait- Spiritually Uncontrolled Art

This shit is Swedish Death Metal at its best. No to be confused with the above mentioned band. Obscure, fucked up, no thrills or frills, their logo is really cool looking, too. Not the fastest music out there, but its written in a way as to not give you too much time to think, its up tempo, I'll say that much.

Invocator demos

So Invocator are a teched out thrash metal band form the late 80s early 90s Danish scene, they fucking slay, these are all of the demos that are available from them in one neat little format. Like every song on here is a classic, much better than their albums, sad to say. Their first wasn't bad, but the second is just bullshit. Anyhow, the demos rule. Kind of lo-fi, dungeon sounding, tape hiss tio high heaven, kinda teched out, lots of riffage, the drummer is so on point its painful. Also, no blast beats on this one. Getting soft, I know.

Autopsy- Retribution For The Dead

Autopsy- Ridden With Disease CD

Slow death metal from the fucking depths of hell. Insane, neurotic, truly obsessed with death and disease, this band is awesome, they play music that is death/doom, like a funeral dirge made by people who think your death is a joyous occasion. The Ridden With Disease CD has their I think 3 demos, it's my own rip, so it might be crappy, and it has some rare live stuff, and a nasty ass cover of a childs drawing of some woman with worms and sores and shit. Naaaaasty shit. Retribution for The Dead is more like the Autopsy everybody knows and loves, not as thrashy as on the earlier demos. Both are great. If you don't happen to know this band, its old ass death metal, do yourself a favor and get to know them. It doesn't matter what kinda music you like, they fucking rule, and in your heart of hearts, you will know this.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!UPDATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Struggle 7"

What with all of the Charles Bronson shit going around, here is the Struggle 7", super political, sXe sounding band, kinda slow, really really 90s. But it's fucking cool to listen to, head bobbin the whole time, really obnoxious, explaining shit to you vocals. This is sort of a European band in their mentality, but the music and lyrics are distinctly American. It's a good listen, heady topics, nice sound, a bit too clean for me, but fuckin nice none the less.

Skitslakt- Victim

Got this form Sean's blog called Damaging Noise, you can see the link on the side there, one of the bets blogs out there. So this would be an update of the blastbeat crusts topic, this band is Swedish, they kick ass, they are like a stereotypical crust band, with songs being exactly what you would imgine, plus blastbeats. Its raw, its dirty as fuck, its sloppy, its fast, and in your fucking face. Vocals are really good on here as well.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Harsh Noise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I have not done anything no harsh noise on here. As you can guess, with all f the noise grind I post, I fucking love just straight up harsh noise as well. I don't like it nearly as much as grind, but I like it. And the masters of it to me are clearly Guilty Connector, and his mighty Utsu Tapes. Some of this other shit is good too, but with something as subjective as this type of crap, of course, there's not much to write about.

Guilty Connector/Facialmess- Nothing Left Inside
The title says it all. Both fo these cats are good at making harsh, loud, fucked up shit happen with objects that screech. This shit is long. The facialmess side is just one continous, fucked up, agonizing screeching bit of harsh ass noise. The Guilty Connector side is like, more than one track, and its a bit more endearing, but still super fucked up, and still just noise.

Guilty Connector/Bastard Noise/MSBR
Of the three, Guilty Connector take the cake, this one is harsh from beggining to end, and at the end, there is a weird techno beat for a while as well. Bastard Noise is what you would expect, the vocals always kill me on his shit, I like his ambient stuff more than is harsh shit, though, he just does that better, this one is fairly good, though. And MSBR is your typical harsh as fuck performer, total noise devastation, screeching, feed back loops, just layers and layers of fucked up mess.

Guilty Connector- Sabbath, Connector Sabbath
Low end noise, loud as fuck bass stuff on here. Good, not as harsh perhaps as the rest. Nice and short though, for when you only want a little bit of noise, not 25 minutes of harsh feed backed shit.

Nautical Almanac- Rooting For Microbes
So this one is unfinished, I got it from a girl a million years ago, in a galaxy far, far away. Its super harsh, American, I would believe, dont know anythgin about them. They have this one and a track on a compilation I have, and nothing more can I find from them. Probably not looking in the right places, but these artsy noise dudes fucking piss me off, so I tend to stay away, except, well, the love of feedback and fucked up things sometimes makes for strange bedfellows.

I will have more shit soon. Relax.

PROGRESS IS A FUCKING LIE

Haven't written here in over a month. Sorry about that, just did not find the time. Also, my tape rips just aren't coming along, which sucks hardily, but thems the breaks.

Just went to a noise show last night, lots of fun, got trashed and am still hanging from last night. And I picked up a CD of my mate's solo project, who also sings in Karak, its called UTX, im going to write about it, its bass dirven, its messed up, its space oriented, could use some grind though. Im also gonna hit you with updates, to try and save my sorry ass. But first....

.....you know what I really fucking hate? The term progressive. I absolutley despise it, and I'm gonna try to explain why. Not only do I hate it in music and art, which I do, because it makes no sense, but also, I hate it in politics as well. The only place I think the term progressive can be used is in scientific affairs. The reason for this is because science has set goals and aims, and as it achieves more and more of those aims, the more it has progressed. The methodology and principles are constant, if the techniques and the outcomes do vary greatly. Can you say this about music? The aims and goals fo musicians, and of musical genres, music in general is not constant, it does not have a set aim that it is going towards. That would involve projecting youre ridiculous ideology or ideologies on the whole of all music ever, which is absurd. People like to use it to mean music that is a little bit more technical, or has more sounds or instruments, or riffs, or complexity than before. But that is also dumb. It's saying that music necessarilly progresses from a state of less complexity to a state of more. This is not true. Plain and simple, its flat out wrong.

Now when it comes to politics, the term progressive is again misleading. It says that political affairs, the affairs fo human socieities, are in a set pattern and they are going towards some kind of end result. It strips you of your power to act and to make your own decisions. So this is the sort of slavish mentality behind using words like this. Th erest of this post I want to dedicate to music that makes this term look ridiculous.

KRUPSKAYA

Krupskaya are a band from Stoke, England. I have had the pleasure of meeting them a bunch fo times, touring with them, having a grand old time. They are a good example of why the term progress is dumb. Many people would call this music ambient, or noise/grind, or progresisve or avant garde, or whatever. Really, its just a weird grindcore band. They play grind, they are not so much focused on using rifs as they are on atmosphere, but at the same time they have complicated rhythm structures, and plenty of noise shit as well. The songs and song titles are abotu chemical and biological warfare, oppression and death in general, its a very specific sort of feel to it, that I can't quiet put my finger on. They are a great band, but is this progress? I don't think they would like the term, anyhow.....

This is their full-length, Clouds Over Pripyat, and it is difficult tog et through, because of the complexity and millions of minutia that are in it. But its well worth it, it will fuck you right up.

This is their split with Sandokhan, who are alright, but negligible. This is some awesome work of theirs, I really, really am a fan of this recording. A little bit more accessible than their full length, also shorter, but still extremely weird and grotesque.

This is a compilation that they are on, this song in partiular kicks major ass, so I wanted to include it. Also, tons of fastcore and PV stuff on this compilation, really noisy shit as well, its a good listen. Highlights to me where the Negative Approach cover, done by AOA, and also the Yattai and American Ghost Band bits.

SHIT I JUST RIPPED

So I am also gonan give you guys some tape rips, and some CD rips of some shit. First up, here si a band called No Humans Involved, who are a super political, feminist, all girl anarchopunk band. Thier message would be what you could call progressive, but listen to the music, it is some of the most primitive shit you can find. I also really like the vocals, they are annoying as fuck, but in the best of ways. Songs are a bit long for my taste, no reason to drag this out for 2 minutes, in my opinion. Still, fun to listen to, interesting lyrics, all in danish, but english translations are provided.

And back to the beggining, at the noise shit, where I got drunk, a friend played. This is his CD of shit that sounds dangerously close to the Solar Temple, its noise, its ambient, its space, there are song titles, but no songs per say. Also a good example of how the term progress, within music, does not make any sense. Is it progressive to not have riffs? Fucking bullshit. The CD is good though, if you like drugs.

The last one is a piece of drum machine grind. A friend made it, and he can do vocals and instruments, but he cannot play drums, so he was forced. You could call this progressive grind, its metal influenced, lots fo riffs, weird things happen, blasting, programmed drums, what not. But again, its not. The guy doing it certainly wouldn't think it is, and I most definitely dont think it is. The genre of grindcore is going in a million places at the same time, how could you even make sense of the term progress?

UPDATES

The rest of this post is just shit I uploaded for the purpose of worhsipping the blast beats. I checked out the mediafire page where we upload our crap, and ti tells you how many times something was downloaded, and I must say the blastbeat crust stuff was hit the most. So, Ima give you some regular crust, but not ones you will like, I hope. Hey, you learn more that way, when you are introduced to shit that you cant handle.

So first up is our good friends from Livstid. My band Human Error released s plti with these guys, they are a ton of fun, Norwegian lads, this CD is their last three years worth of work in 7" records, and it is free. It is the more popular side of d-beat, but its great fun, and the guys are awesome people, I feel it is my duty to spread the word on these lads, even if there are no blastbeats. Tell you what though, the drummer knows how to play them, he just doesnt wanna.

And now, some noisy, fucked up, south east asian crust. The band is Skitsöfrenia, and I initially liked the CD because they sound like they are saying the same thing over and over again on each song. Turns out, they have an Anti-Cimex cover, and a Mob 47 cover on here as well. No blastbeats. Musically they are closer to the Mob, but in anyway, super hideously raw fucked up malaysian crust. Come get yours.

Sorry, the idea of progress is just bugging me. I have to write some more. The next three are also related. So 3 pieces of Japanese noise for you, and some russian d-beat.

Distress are a russian band, rightfully called the Manowar of D-Beat. They are great, this is a good CD, and it is called Progress-Regress, with a picture of a factory on the cover, spewing some filth. The recording is nice, the band is like super tight, the drummer does not play blastbeats, does not roll, he just hits them d-beats for ever and ever. Almost psychedelic in that sense. But they are also raising the same issue, of relativity, and of the stupidity of the idea of progress.

And now for the noise/grind. World is a band from Japan who no longer exist, and I got to know of them from the Melanocetus boys, particularly Mao. The best in the genre, by a long shot, and I am a man who likes his noise/grind. No riffs, just repetetive noise, some times not so repetitive, crazy fucking vocals, and blast beats, tom licks, grind up yur ass. The noise is so well done its frightening. This is an example of a man using machinery and noise like an instrument which a lot of peopkle dont do, they just kinda fuck around at high volumes. Really I cant go on how amazing this is. Ima just put this one up here, there is much more, but for starters, this will do.

This si the band with some of the 2 or 3 members from World. I think the drummer is the same here as in the previous band. The band is less noise and more grind, but still on that blissfull merging of the two genres, which I love. Thsi band sounds a shit load like Discordance Axis, and it is no surprise that I found this on the Cephalochromoscope blog. At the time I did not know of the members being similar.

The next up is a split between a Japanese and a German band, again noise/grind, again awesome, again making the term progress look empty and ridiculous. This is the Nikudorei/Anal massaker split. Very different approach to noise and grind than everything else on this post. More barbaric, more loud and screechy, but also very well done with the noise. Its incorporated right into the blastbeats and the riffage, and its well played. Very happy about all of this.

And last of all, I see I have 28 followers. That is fucking crazy, I never expected a single one. I

ams orry to those 28 folks for having waited so long with this post, but I assume you can get your sunday blastbeat worshipping done elsewhere as well, but I am very grateful for all of them for being here, although I suspect that one of them is a prostitute, since there is just a picture of a vagina, and not much description, just contact info. But still, thanks to you as well, whoever you may be.

THAT NEW YORK FRAME OF MIND- JAZZED OUT DEATH METAL

Metal post coming atcha, cuz i have not done one of those in a while. I got nostalgic after the Biolich post and unearthing of their miraculous 2003 promo, and so I wanna post a bunch of shit that I listened to at the time that I saw them live, when I lived in NYC. I'm not gonna rant, cuz its gonna get sentimental, I dont like that, this is the internet, and I dont know you. Therew as basically no grindcore things going on in New York at that time, there were mad crusties and punk kids, and also, metal guys listening to all sorts of crazy metal, and some grindcore, very interestingly enough.
First up I wanna post some stuff that I got to see frequently. I also have the 2004 Biolich demo, gonna give you that, I have already talked of them, they rule, weird, emo-esue riffs with crazy death/grind, gutturals, acoustic guitars, which I hate, but its not weak and shitty.
Then, its that crazy Copremesis stuff I also talked of. Gook is the man, still in contact, still the man, here is their album called Muay Thai Ladyboys. Crazyness, death/grind about transvestites, super guttural, unimaginable weird riffs that dont make any fucking sense, god I love this shit, tis almost like noise/grind, except super teched out.
Then, its Animals Killing People, vegan death/grind that sounds very much like NYC death/grind, super high annoying snare drum, gutturals the whole time, slam riffs, hyper blasts, puking, intros of animals, unsurprisingly, killing people. The last track is the bomb. Just saying, they all rule, but that one has sex with your mom.

Biolich 2004 Demo
Copremesis- Muay Thai Ladyboys
Animals Killing People- Human Hunting Season

Next up is Malignancy, who hardly ever played, at least at venues that I went to, maybe because of things being busy, or maybe just because the New York metal scene was notoriously crappy at the time, I dunno if it got better, hope so. Anyways, technical as all hel, their demo stuff and first album are much easier to comprehend, so Im gonna throw that at you first on the list. Their later stuff is crazier, and as a band that developed its own sound to a degree where you can tell its them on any album from roughly 1.2 seconds of riffage, not to mention vocals, which are like growls, but totally unique, they progress in their sound, becomign less and less like other bands, and more and more like themselves. At this point, they are uncategorizable. Completely. They started off as a death/grind, gore influenced band, but went totally beyond that even at the demo stages, and now its outta control. My favorite happens to be Motivated By Hunger, but they are all masterpieces. Some of these are my own rips, some aren't.

Malignancy- Ignorance Is Bliss (demos compilation)
Malignancy- Intrauterine Cannibalism
Malignancy- Motivated By Hunger
Malignancy- Intervalle Bizzarre Split
Malignancy- Cross-Species Transmutation
Malignancy- Inhuman Grotesqueries

A little bit similar, but totally different, is Bound and Gagged. They have retarded lyrics, which are not about anything, and the vocals get annoying after like 3 tracks, but the music is absolutely insane. There are weird slapped bass licks, intense blasts that are constant, lots of weird jazz shit, insane guitars, everything is played like 3.5 times, I dont think theres a single 4X4 riff on here. If youre into that, I think you will like it, if not, then probably not.

Bound and Gagged- Fornicate the Gutted

Pustulated. What can really be said about the best band in this genre? To me, they are by far the coolest band like this, mainly because of their insane drummer, who has these sweet ass licks he uses, with little frills and thrills to spice it up for you. Also, his blast beasts are totally off the chain. He played with Brodequin a while ago, on their first album, and he also pélays in a country rock band. I uploaded their split with Corpemesis up here, so you might already have an idea of what this band is like. All of their albums are different though. My favorite is the one pictured above, it is nicely trecorded, the lows are super low, the highs are ince and clean, their pslit is dirty as fuck, their latest one, Hematoma is slower and sounds totally mechanical, I dont really like it that much, but hey, its decent, and their first offering is more typical of the genre, but still really good. So check em out.

Okay, this band everyone fucken hates, I dont know but one guy besides me who likes them, but people who like them become really big fans. I am one of these losers, I obsess over this band as well. If anyone can give me their demos I would be very, very happy. These two things are the only things I can get my hands on. Kinda sucks.
The music is really thick and chaotic, you cannot really grasp or go with anything that happens, I have no idea how these songs are written, rehearsed and played. I just dont know. Its amazing. Its just a murky, chaotic mess, ecery time I listen to it I always visualize like a headless, tailless serpent being just writhing around and around, looking nasty. I seriously recommend it, although everyone seems to hate. Their earlier stuff is a like a bit easier to get into. But not that much.

And to top it all of, here is all of the stuff I own by Mortician. Not that much, was never a huge fan, I like the fact that they down tune so low as to be basically indistinguishable noise on the crappier recordings, and to sound like various kinds of fuzz on the better sounding ones. I like their short songs better than their long ones. Thes epeople have an understanding of brutality that I like, but again, the lyrics are like watching a cheesy horror flick on repeat. Its amuzing for like 3-4 tracks and then its just like, man, give me a break. But its awesome, great drummer, the drum mahcine stuff is also kinda good. Enjoy.

UPDATES+DEMISOR+RANT+CLASSICS= THIS POST

So there is gonna be a rant in this one, just to tell you. But first, I am waaay too excited to do that, and I must tell you about updates. The first is that not only is Blunts and Blasts back, but the guy who deos it, Lord Kramdar, besides being of Hungarian origin, which is the coolest coincidence ever, has a new band! Does this mean Epileptic Fit bit the dust? Yes, sadly it does. However, his new band, which he does not have a drummer (for all of you cleaveland grind freaks need to get in touch with this man NOW), aside from the drum machine fucking rules. It's called Thought Rapist and you can check em out HERE. I think its his one man, anyhow, fucking awesome stuff, includes a Dahmer cover, which more of you need to do. Also, no vocals, except on the covers.
Also.....

Those of you familiar with USA grindcore, or this blog, or both will know what this picture means. Cellgraft are fucking back. They did this album a while ago, but I am a total space cadet, and did not pick it up until now. They have a split in the works (probably out by now...), and I just cannot wait. Y'all know how nerdy I get with this type of shit, obsessive and what not. At first I did not like it as much as the other two, cuz the snare is not annoying sounding enough, like on the other releases (I love annoying high pitch snare, I might post about that next. Or more tape rips), but quiet normal like. But once you get behind it, man, this is such an awesome release, I like it more and more every time I give it a go. Less rolls then on the previous one, but still a ton. In comparisson, this one makes the previous one seem a little bit overdone in that department, seeing as how form fitted the drumming is to the guitars, and how awesome this one is. My mp3 player cannot handle it, cuz its mp4, so it has become my official coming home and getting high music.

Also in the updates section is some Hungarian stuff, as I really like the things that are happening in this part of the world right now, and some things I got at a show a while ago. First up is the picture you see above you. This band is solid as fuck crust, no blast beats, but sometimes the drummer busts out the fastcore tempo, which is fun. They are a lot like Disrupt musically, but with the vocals and the atmosphere being much closer to the Swedes than anything. The first track is basically some acoustic guitars and shit, thats pretty whack. The intros are real hitters for me as well, some of them in Hungarian. The singer hooked it up, who used to play drums in Human Error, the band I now play in, so he is my predecessor. He has like a million other awesome bands, including Gyalázat and Freedom Is A Lie, where he brings some of the most solid d-beats and blasts in the country. Really well written shit on here as well, could be faster though.

Do You Think I Care? Demo 2010

You know what else fucking slays totally and absolutely? Remember that Alea Iacta Est shit I threw your way in the early days of this blog? Delete that shit. They just hit me up with a promo, and it blows fucking 80% of grind today out the fucking water. This band got a lot better, and thats saying a lot, as they fucking ruled before hand as well, but get a hold of em now. Faster, same drumming style with the fastcore tempo met with triplet out of control Czech style blastbeats, the vocals are raspy as fuck and really, really traditional, but in the best of ways, and the riffing is awesome as well. They are like the next Ulcerrhoea. They fucking own, and good folks as well, although their singer likes to promote these gigs, with these college kids and their whack ass pop music. But I won't hold it against him. It's a living.

Harvester. What can I really say about this band? They have been around for quiet a bit now, we share a front man, who is absolutely insane, they play grind n roll for metalheads, they are metalheads, drink more than a port full of Irish dockworkers, and their live shows are entertaining as fuck, although I haven't seen them play in like 2 years, so why dont I shut the fuck up and talk about the CD? It's called 'We Are The Nottenbohm Case', I am not sure what a Nottenbohm case is, although the singer explained it to me, but as it happens when I meet this guy, we were drunk, and I can't remember what it means. Perhaps one of you smart ass guys can elaborate in the comments. As always, they bring the stonerish stuff in it as all hell, its pretty slow for a grindcore band, which they swear they are not, the music is full of weird shit as well. The sound is fairly clean, the lyrics are fucking crazy. Metalled out guitar stuff, primitive and tight drumming, you get the idea.

The next CD I picked up at a gig. It is some Lithuanian thrash called GFT, and their live set was good, but the drummer could not hold the fast parts. Not dissing, just calling it like I see it. It is thrash that is exclusively about drinking, living your life and skateboarding, as well as, surprise, surprise, smoking weed. If you are into that sort of thrash, real typical like, then you will dig this, it is a good example of the genre. The sound is grimy as fuck, the bass is louder then the guitar, which I love, the drums sound like cardboard, which I also love. The vocals are real honest like, just loud nasal speaking, with a fucking funny accent. You hear the voice, and you feel like you know the guy. Pretty mediocre in many respects, but Ima throw it on here, it has its moments.

Also got that hot new shit from Cogs and Sprockets. By new, I mean they already sold all of the physical copies. But they hook it up with an e-booklet, and a sick cover on this one. Man, this band is also firmly lodged within my heart, for a number of reasons. The songs are never over half a minute long, although they have gotten demonstrably longer than the last thing I heard from him, the sound is always grimy as fuck, the song titles kick ass. They moved away from their older sound, which had an annoyingly high snare, rehearsal room sound and Discordance Axis-esue riffage. Now the riffs are more, I dunno, traditional grind, but still really fucking innovative and awesome, also, no more annoying snare sound. I hope this does not turn into a trend, I love annoying snares. Each song has a picture instead of lyrics as a song title, and they speak louder than fucking words. Also, just one guy. Insanity. How do fuck do you have time to learn to play all of these instruments that well and also like, sleep and eat and shit? The theme on this one seems to be homeless folks, the one I put up earlier seemed to be blindness. I refer to theme loosely here, of course. If i would give points, I would give ten out of ten, but fuck that.

Cogs And Sprockets- Arms For The Poor

So you know how sometimes I throw a bunch of shit from one band up here? If you don't happen to know Demisor, then this is your lucky day. This is not BY FAR a complete discography, its the stuff I have and like from these guys. They are from Singapore, and you can feel the grime as only South East Asian bands can make you feel it. Faster than what can be played, sloppy, but somehow still fuckin tight. I go nuts for this kind of grind, and we are seriously thinking of touring in the South of Asia. Every album is a little different, some of them are really, really, metaled out, I could talk about each one of them for a while, but instead of that, let me sum it up: lots of funny intros of Asian pop music, solid as fuck playing, blastbeats, d-beats, the high vocals are really typical of this sort of music, the low vocals sound a little like the guy from Autoritar. Got most of this shit off of KTGA! Awesome grindcore band, bit of crust, bit of hardcore, bit of metal towards the end there, always awesome though.

Now its time for me to go on a rant. I haven't done it in a while, but some shit pissed me of so bad, that I must do this now.

GENT FUCKING SUCKS!!!!! I was blissfully unaware of this genre until last weekend, when my old guitarist and I got together at his house, and he put this shit on. Man, of all the worthless, time wasting, listless, lifeless pieces of shit out there, this genre has to take the cake. If you are still one of those unaware of this genres existence, take Meshuggah, mix it up with everything that sucks that has happened in the past 10 years in music, throw it in a blender, add a bunch of nonesense and fake ass "emotion", and there you have it. The only thing to say about it is that it is really technical, and difficult to memorize the riffs.
Come on. Thats it? I bring you Biolich, a band that broke up a few years back, but who were really technical and difficult riffage, blah blah blah, but guess what? Their riffs actually went somewhere, and it was not a fucking chorus of castratis pouring the pitiful contents of their inflated hearts into your ears.

Enough of that. Biolich fucking ruled, when I lived in NYC they played like every weekend or so, along with Corpemesis and Internal Bleeding. Their guitarist must have been like 16 or some shit, their frontman was this cannonball of a guy, easily 120 kilos and 160 cm, and the drummer was like a jazz guy who was obsessed with death/grind, at least judging from the sound and the licks, he fucking owned so hard it was unbelievable. The music is utterly unique, its death/grind in a way, but with these soulful, almost emoed out riffs in there, the vocals are like the sickest gutturals, few get even near this guy. The songs are all fucked up, man, opens some new horizons in music.
I personally prefer the promo, cuz I had it when it came out, its my own rip of the damn thing, must have heard it like 10000 times at least. I thought about making a post just about the promo, but who wants to hear me get sentimental? It ain't pretty.

The "album" is also good, similar songs, but the old ones were better, for me, at least, but these guys cant make bad shit. My advice is to listen to the grimy, rehearsal-esue promo first, and then go for the album. It so so good, man, orgasmic.

I leave you with a classic. Regurgitate at their absolute best. Grudge fucking rule as well, both are the reason why grind is awesome. Grimy, filthy, fucked up, utter explosion of hate, X2. Also, Ima end it with a call for help. If you have anything else from Grudge, hook it up, you see me doing my thing as well. I will put it up on here for everyone to hear. The obscurity is killing me, I have spent years trying to get more shit from them, and I have found that it exists, but no one has it, man. So please, hook that shit up.

BEEN A WHILE....MEGAPOST!!!!!!!!

I have not had the sufficient time to post on here, so there is a lot of things for me to talk about. First off, the comments are getting out of conrol. I think I managed to piss off a bunch of people with not responding to comments due mostly to my inability to work computers and things related to computers. But the disclaimer clearly says that I dont care about comments, none the less, I want to apologize to Papst Benedikt and the Epileptic Fit guys for not responding.
Also, BLUNTS AND BLASTS IS BACK!!!!! Thats like the best news ever.
Also, I just got done with touring in Holland, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and got to play in Budapest with Ratos De Porao and then Tragedy. Also played a single gig this weekend in Ukraine, which is always the most awesome thing ever, and thats why I didn't post.
So let's get started, shall we? NO rant, only music.

So first I wanna talk about things happening here at home, in Hungary. There are now so many awesome bands here, its incredible, there a couple of crust bands, couple of grind bands, couple of awesome fast as fuck hardcore bands, I am very, very happy about this, got to a street punk show as well, I don't like the music, but these guys know how to have a good time. If a Hungarian band wirtes to you about gigs, please book them, we are getting better all the time, we dont ask for much, and we are very happy to play anyway. So many bands that I could mention who play awesome music, and many of them have already been mentioned on this site, but just to give a few, who play blastbeats, Freedom Is A Lie, Gyalázat, PFA, Dance Or Die, Another Way, Jack, Karak, Youth Violence, Mind Your Step, Grow Up Fuck It Up, Crippled Fox, seriously, this list could just go on and on and on, man, I am very happy to share the stage with these folks.
Youth violence is one of these awesome new bands, from Győr, I believe, anyways, affiliated with Győr. They have a blog, it is very good, they play like PV thrash stuff, but really heavy and awesome with the atmospheric-ness, they are not a clone band, unique, fast and awesome. The sound is somewhat "dark", but still really, really good. Great people as well.

Youth Violence demo ii

The next thing is also Hungarian, silly thrash by the Step On It guys, whom I now play music with. He is gonna hate me for posting this, but ima do it, cuz this is one funny ass band. It's called Frank Derbin, from the Naked Gun series, and I think it was pressed in 2 (!!!!) copies on a 7". Parody songs with riffs lifted from Star Wars, Knight Rider, Metallica and all sorts of other places.

Frank Derbin- Play That Thrashcore Music, White Boy

Just got back from the Ukraine, as I had mentioned earlier, and i picked up a 3 way grindcore CD (the last band is actually sludge), and Ima give it to you. For free. It starts with Skruta, who have members of the Symbioz in it, who we toured with in 2009, and this is their grind band, and it rules. Good quality grind, Kolja growling his head of, he has some very in your face, brutal as fuck traditional grind growls, so good, and the drumming is craziness, every 2nd riff is a blast beat, the way its ment to be. They are great people as well, love these guys. Next is Foible Instinict from Kiev, they also rule, Nasum-esque in a way, good vocals, solid drumming, really catchy grind riffs, they got massively better than the last time I saw them, which was 3 years ago, now they absolutley rule, they play a GG Allin cover on this one as well, which is weird for a grind band. Also they play a sludge track at the end, which is also strange. They are rawer than Skruta, but Skruta are a bit more professional. Both bands fuckin rule, however, great grindcore CD. The last band is called Forever Wasted, and it is sludge, got drunk wiht their drummer, cool guy, but I dont like slow music, so ima not say anything.

Skruta/Foible Instinct/ Forever Wasted

Next up is the Melanocetus Murrayi boys playing d-beat much like Disclose, but way noisier (I know, right?), and with that good World, GBN influence, cuz those guys just worship them so much. Go Filth Go are the d-beat fo the future, to end this nonesense thats been passed as d-beat. Got this tape from Dimitris, who also plays in this one. And that is the drummer Mao playing some d, the way it was meant to be. No blastbeats in it, but the whole thing is so raw and filthy, it deserves a place on this blog, and plus they are grind fanatics, so....

Go Filth Go- No Escape From Noise Dis-truction

So, the famous Grindwork compilation. Perhaps the most awesome grind compilation in existence, it features Nasum, Retaliation, Vivisection and CSSO, in that order. Since almost all of you have this comp, im also gonna throw in some follow up stuf to it. If you dont have this comp, immediately download it. Retaliation and Vivisection are both better than Nasum on this comp, and I would say that Vivisection (the one from Japan, of course) is better in general. I really dont like CSSO, but I am going to post some follow up on them as well.

Retaliation are like an awesome grind band from Sweden, real metal like, used to play gore, kinda stayed gore influenced, but changed their style up to be more of that Assel, Gadget sort of Swede grind stuff. Super negative and fucked up, their attitude is quiet like my favs Ulcerrhoea. Their sound is quiet different, more metal and all that. This is their discography, and it includes their early gore stuff as well.

Vivisection are from Japan and are an amazing grind band in the tradition of Voltifobia, Impregnate Trichonomas, etc. I dont know anything about them except that I got their demo off of Damaging Noise, as a whole tape rip, and took it apart into tracks. As usual, I leave the whole rip and the track by track rip in the same folder, for those times when you wanna listen to it like an mp3, and for those times when you want the tape experience. And I have this comp and also their split with CSSO. That's about it. The vocals are super shrill at times, and at other times are real rude growls full of hate and piss. The drummign is really fucking fast, the whole band is raw, tight, with awesome little twists, and mostly just blast beats. These type o grind bands are the best things on this planet.

I wanna do a follow up on the blast beat crusts tuff because tis the post that most of you liked. The middle guy in the picture with the hair and SOIA shirt is me. To my right is Csiga of Human Error, to the left is Davey, a scottish maniac skinhead guy who eats porn DVDs. For real, I fuckin saw it, man.

Global Holocaust are 90s Canadian blast beat crust, super political and poignant, and all that shit. But they are good, man, really good. Also, I got to know them because Ulcerrhoea plays a cover of theirs. This is not their whole discography, I dont think, because they just have more and more shit popping up every time I search for them. Most of this is off of KTGA!, and I don't own a single thing by them at all. I know, lame, but whaccha gonna do?

Also, I found the Dismachine/Totalitar split LP, I already talked enough about this band in a previous post, Totalitar are like they always are, Dismachine are blast beat fuckin crust. Also gonna hook it up with the Drunkard/Cornucopia split 7", as Drunkard are blast beat crust, and Cornucopia are a mincecore band. On this record Cornucopia play their best, sort of screamoed out even, but in a way that is not too bad for a mince band. It is definitely their darkest and most emotional recording, and I love this band, by the way, obsess over Cornucopia all the time. Drunkard are from Australia, and are really good on this record, have never heard anything else by them, but they play fucking great d-beats mixed with blasts, the recording is way too clean, but really enjoyable, high energy, fuck you right up. Also, Ima put some Existench on here, just for good measure. They are Canadian too, and also play blast beat with their crust. They have the best name in the history of fucking crust bands. This is a split with Dread 101. Classic records on here, man.....

BLASTBEAT CRUST! (and some more stuff)

So, this one is gonna be about crust, crust with blastbeats. Why? Because all you guys wanna run with is melodic ass neocrust and slow ass stenchcore, and I have not heard a decent crust band in a million years. Don't get me wrong, I love Misery, and slow ass crust (although neocrust is fucking shit, most of the time), its fine, but lets not forget the real deal here. I play in a crust band, its got blastbeats, and everyone is like, oh my god, how uniue and interesting!! It's not unique, it's not interesting, y'all just forgot how its done. Looking at you younger cats mostly, older guys still know whats good, for the most part, although yall getting soft too.

The picture is of my wife and child as of last year in front of a big as spiece of some cat named "Grind". I know, it looks like "Gryno" or some shit, but it is actually grind. Ready?

Autoritar are form Germany, and unlike most music from Germany, with a few notable exceptions, they do NOT suck ass. They play tons of d-beats and blastbeats, tight enough, but loose enough to let the soul of the music waft around. Gotta be like one of my favorites. The lyrics are fairly mundane PC punk lyrics. Not that impressed by them in that sense. But they fucking rule, the vocals are total cookie monster, they get to be hillarious, especially on the split with AG.

Two good bands, but Autoritar fuckin take the cake. Really anarcho, super crusty shit on this one, hardly any blast beats.

Fuckin awesome. I dont like Coma, but Autoritar simply rule on this one. Fast as fuck, Bastard cover, blast beats all the way, d-beat song on here as well. This is the epitome of a good split EP for me. Coma play like mid-tempo really brutal d-beat, tis swell, but no blastbeats. So....

This might be a repost, I fucking hype both of these bands like non-stop. They both rule, VFB is at their peak o this one, super noisy, sloppy, fucked up, really ridiculously fast, great riffage, really crazy shrieking vocals. Autoritar are not their usual selves on this one, and rule slightly less then some of their other releases.

Autoritar/Totalitar
D-beat, for the most part. Both of these guys. It's decent, Autoritar slaughter the legendary Swedes, though.
This is my least favorite Autoritar release. Hardly any blasting, funny intros, though. A good band knows who to do splits with, though, and of course, Warsore fucking rule. They are not my favs either, but you now what you are getting with them, always. This one is a 12", it's fairly long, but its alright.
Again, hardly any blastbeats, but really, really decent. Good d-beats, fucking awesome riffage, funny vocals, its got the standard Autoritar stuff going for it.
And of course, all good bands have a split with Agathocles. This is a great record, both sides absolutely slay, classic AG stuff, and Autoritar absolutely slay on this one, they have a song called disbeat on here, lots of fast stuff as well.
Oh, and if you got a problem with my Agathocles obsession, then here is a record for you. Its their splti with Vomit Fall, who are like an awesome grind band, and I have never heard from them since, or before. I dont know where they are from, but they rule. Also, AG play awesome music on this one. This is one of those rare gems that has an atmosphere to it, feels like nothing else. Both sides. Awesome. Get it here.

Destroy are my favorite crust band. See why find out for yourself. Fir all of you lazy assholes, here is a discography, although I really do suggest that you get some of their EPs and dwell on them first, cuz they are so awesome, you need a couple of listens. These records feel so unlike anything else at all. It's one of those cases when yo can ear the chemistry and the awesomeness on the records. And of course, tons of fastcore and even quicker blastbeats, great shrieking and also a really, really bad ass growl. But its like punked out, man, just listen.
Best 7", perhaps in my collection at all. Great shortb songs, really catchy, longer crust songs are also awesome, drumming si fucking on par, vocals, as always,a nd every riff is memorable. Its like edge of your seat the whole time that it is on. Just the best crust band, by far.

Destroy!/ Disrupt
Everything that is good about crust. Grime, blastbeats,, d-beats, hardcore shit, mid-tempos, awesome growling and yelling, good lyrics, pissed off, but still somehow disgusting and grating. Really mindblowing shit. The bets meets the best.
Destroy on here, Hellnation on here, Assuck on here,a nd some band that is always on the comps that are totally left in the dust, this time called Confrontation. All of these three other bands have been on this blog, you know they are absolutely great, Destroy sound like a little bassier and more low end than usual, and the songs are awesome, I love these tracks.

Axiom are one of those Tribal War crust bands form Portland, some of these folks now play in Hellshock, with whom I have had the pleasure to drink with, and also in Resistant Culture, who I might post later on, and who play like Native American hardcore, its weird, sorta beatdownish. But anyway, who cares, Axiom play crust, its full of blastbeats, really, really evil and dark sounding, these folks know about their metal, but do not over do it, in fact, tis the type of fats crust that leans heavily on the hardcore side.

This si an EP, its crappy sound quality, the upload aint that good either, but its awesome, more metal then any of their other stuff. Awesome EP though, the intro is really good as well. The riffage is great, but the drumming takes it all.

Real classic crust shit, with blasbeats. More hardcore then anything else, has a spoken word track on here about suburban american punks who pretend to be poor and thus squander all of the wealth that is at their disposal. Really good little monologue, although I do not like spoken word on my records, but this one is aight.
Their best one in my opinion. Four tracks, absolutely rules, blastbeats and a classic d-beat tune on here as well. This one is really awesome.

Okay, last band I wanna talk about today is Dismachine. Big up to Dr. Slayer for hooking me up with these guys. Fucking grindcore band, with this name, they are crusties, but the music is straight up grindcore, for real. Its awesome.
Grindcore band versus some PV. Really noisy and fucked up split, really good material, but of course, Dismachine take the cake with their crusty feeling grindcore.
Same members in both fo these bands, Cumbrage is a d-beat band, really negative and fucked up atmosphere on both of these guys. Dismachine are a filthy, raw as fuck band on this one, they absolutely rule.
So yeah, keep that shit in mind.

THAT DUB POST

Grab a fat sack, I'm bringing the never before heard shit (on tihs blog), so sit down. It's been a while, I know, had mad shit to take care of and Marci has been a total flake about caring for the blog. I got two active bands now, Im gonna tour Holland and Germany and Slovakia and the Czech republic, and am gonna play a gig with Ratos De Porao. Pretty neat, the other band, Boz Cordolla, is recording in may, so I have had my fair share of shit to deal with, besides hustling to stay alive, raising my kids, and fucking your girlfriend.
But I gitta keep shit real, my blog is a priority. I just have not found the time to deal with it nowadays. Some of you might know, I love dub. Not dubstep, not reggae, old, grimmy as fuck, majestic as fuck, soaring high as a kite dub. And yes, there are bands out there that mix in blastbeats with dub, although they are not dub bands. The first one that comes ot my mind is Real Reggae.
They are Japanese, they fucking rule, and they mix all sorts of genres. I hope they mad eit through the tsunami unuhurt, so far all of my friends on that island have been alright, and no one is dead, although some contacts disappeared. I hope all is well over there, I am personally invested in the well being of Japan...anyway, back to the post. On some of their recordings they are just like any other Japanese fastcore band, but then, sometimes, they bust out the dub, the reggae, the pop, the grind, all sorts of metal as well, its awesome. I am just gonna put a couple of ones up here, as their discography is extensive, and I do not have all of it.

Real Reggae- THC best+ Maze
Two albums, mostly fastcore stuff, some dub thrown in, pretty decent. This is the basic starter package of Real Reggae's shit. If Real Reggae was weed, than this album would be a sick bag of Northern Lights.

Real Reggae- Time Lag's Memories
Totally engrish title, but the sickest album. Such a diverse array of shit being played, which I usually do not like, but they pull it off somehow. There is even a pop song on here, with instruments, granted, but it is a fucking pop song. This would be like a donkey dick of some reallly potent super skunk.

Real Reggae- Hellnation split
Two of my absolute favs in almost grindcore tempo HC. Favorite Hellnation song on here as well, called 'Thug'. Sloppy, lo-fi, fast, fucking great. This would be like a dime sack of haze thats tiny and grimy, but gets your whole crew blazed.

VA- Tomorrow will be worse 1.
A comp of a bunch of 7" materials, includes the split between Hellnation and Nice View, Capitalist Casualties and Flash Gordon, also, some Real Reggae that starts off wiht the most killer of all dub reggae intros. And then breaks into their old style of fucking things up. This would be like a schmorges board of dime sacks, all pretty good, some pretty fruitty.

Hellnation-Real Reagge- Slight Slappers split CD
3 way split, Hellnation bring not their peak performance, but close to it, emoed out intro as well, pretty weird. But then, like a bunch of short fast songs, and then two live sets one of Slight Slappers, and one of Real Reggae. I dont much like live sets, but these ones are alright, I guess, however, on the end of this is like one of the most killer dub tracks of all time. It starts with a dub track they played live, that one is noisy as fuck, and good, and then it changes into a studio dub track that is just mind blowing. This would be like spliff your friend and you roled, where some of it is schwag, and some of it is like golden, bomb ass nugs.

By the way, if you wanna get into dub, here is all of the Commandments Of Dub series from Jah Shaka. Enjoy.

The other thing I want to share with you is a recent discovery of mine, the early demos of Embrionic Death. The album I uploaded and ripped is called Stream of Solidarity, and is like tech/thrash/death form the early 90s, so complicated shit and weird riffing, but not in that sentence band, metalcore meshuggah none sense, which I fucking despise. Its actually good, the songs make sense and progress, even though there is like a million riffs in each song. And then I get an e-mail with some fucking awesome links in it, to their early stuff, which also rules, but is primitive.
However, this brings me to the second part of the story. It has to do with goregrind. Goregrind nowadays fucking sucks, period. Its been sucking for a while, and few people are keeping it real. This is the type of shit that should be run, Carcass, General Surgery type shit, except this one is better played and unique to a certain extent. More gore I like. Hope you enjoy, next time I will try to do a post about crust with blastbeats in it. hopefully, that will happen, been meaning to do so. Also, a post form Marci should be around soon. Also, last demo is an old rip, its in AAC format.
